Pre-Listing Inspection


One of the ways to reduce your potential stress in selling your home is to obtain a pre- listing inspection. A pre-listing inspection will provide you insights into items that need to be repaired or replaced so you can address in advance of placing on the market. Though there is a cost to have a home inspection done, you can obtain several important benefits and advantages.   Some of the benefits and advantages you may obtain are:

So, you are not blindsided by a request for repairs by your buyer, a good inspector’s report(s) will give you insight into what might come up as a request to repair, lender required repairs and insurance requirements. Though it is becoming more popular to obtain a pre-inspection there are still many Sellers who do not want to spend the funds to obtain a pre-inspection.
